The Booted Numbat on the hallowed grounds of Bootleg Brewery, Margaret River Have cross bike, will travel and race at a Brewery - what could possbily go wrong. Race cross country MTB Sunday at the Pines, cyclocross Monday, back to work Tuesday.   Strickly no BYO, there will be plenty on tap or in the fridge. Thinking about lunch, book a table http://bootlegbrewery.com.au/ to avoid disapointment.   New course, New location, New challenges It's back, for the very last time in 2016 Numbat Cup16, 7th race (thats right, seventh!!!)  round Monday 26th September set up Sunday 25th from 1500 (TBC) race Monday 1000-1400 After six popular 'cross races this season we move to a new location and new cyclocross course for the first time in 2016. Sand, mud, barriers, grass, mud, cowbells, heckles and a great location for photos, Sven knows!! we haven't raced here before...   Bikes - any bike with working brakes can be used.  Mens Elite is CX bike only 33mm tyres maximum width.   Parking will be somewhere, come and help setup Sunday and find out.. This requires course set up to be started earlier, the more hands and mallets the better. Remember WACX is by rider for riders, if you want to race, help, it isn’t hard, you get to see the transition from a blank canvas to a cross course and get an inside into the lines that are trying to be set. This round due to the popularity of the Men’s Masters +40 once again we have split it into a B and C grade, if you want to race A step-up into Men’s Elite - because cyclocross isn't meant to be easy.   Rego  Adult racers - don't wait until the last minute, just don't. Ends. NB.     Will be capping numbers at 50 per adult wave, 1. Mens B/C and Masters B/C, 2. Womens Elite-B-C, and 3. Mens Elite. Get in early or you will have to race where there is a spot left - the early bird gets the worm, the second mouse get the cheese.   PayPal Still not sure why a few are having trouble paying via PayPal but the reason might be thus, "If you have a credit card on file with PayPal, and want to make purchases with that credit card, you need to do it by logging into your PayPal account and selecting it as a payment method. If you try to use it without logging into your PayPal account, chances are it will be declined. PayPal assumes that if a credit card number is in someone’s PayPal account, and then a charge is run through on the same number but not through the PayPal account, there may be fraud involved. The card might have been lost or stolen. If you have a PayPal account, the option “Don’t have a PayPal account” will not work unless you use a credit card number that is not associated with your PayPal account." Numbat Cup16 Still Buzzing from the first round at Fishmarket - what a cross race Round 2 is on Sunday 12 June with set up starting at 0830 After such a popular 1st CX, we have had to slightly restructure the waves and entry limits, so get in fast. Times have also been increased, with the timings now: Mens Elite 45; Mens B 40; Masters 40; and Womens Elite 40. This requires course set up to be started earlier, the more hands and mallets the better. Remember WACX is by riders for riders. If you want awesome races all help is appreciated. It's not hard, you get to see the transition from an empty park blank canvas to a cross course and get an insight into the lines that we are  trying to set. At each round we need help with: Picking up race supplies during the week, Organising First Aid, toilets, a coffee cart etc, (all the outside stuff we need); Timing (we're still manual timing to keep the costs to you down, but we need 3 volunteers per wave); course building, registration, commentating and presenting and a host of other things that pop up on the day. OK you NEED to read two sections Section 1  ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY Section 2  What license do i need to race cyclocross                   (you can skip Sec. 2 but please put your license number in the relevant loaction in the contact details) 1.    ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY Please Read Carefully Before Acknowledging it has been read.
